Why Adolescents?
Adolescence is a transition period, which is a phase of development between childhood and adulthood. The main problem teenagers in general is the search for identity. They are having an identity crisis due to be grouped into a group of children was already big, but not big enough to be grouped in the adult group. This is a problem for every teenager. Therefore, often have the urge to depict itself as a distinct group. This impulse is referred to as a boost originality. Yet this is precisely the impetus often plunges teenagers on serious issues, such as nakoba.
Initially teenagers, eager to try, follow the trends and lifestyles, as well as having fun as a form of socialization needs of the group. Although the trend sebenanarnya perfectly natural, but it could actually make it easier for motivated teenagers abusing drugs. Data show that the number of drug users the most is this age group.
The problem becomes more serious when due to drug use, teens contracting and transmitting HIV / AIDS among adolescents. It has been proven through injection drug use interchangeably. This nation will lose very many teenagers as a result of drug abuse and the spread of HIV / AIDS. Losing teens alike with the loss of human resources for the nation.
Therefore, the vulnerability in adolescence needs the understanding and support of parents and families. When the teen needs less attention, then teens will get caught up in the personal development of the "weak", even easily fall into the bondage of drug abuse.
The facts speak that not all families are able to create happiness for all its members, especially for children who teenager. Many families experiencing certain problems-problems. One of them disharmony family relationships. Many families fall apart characterized by parents who did not harmonious relationship and lack of communication between them. Faced with this situation, teens are indecisive, confused and lack of grip in his life. Especially coupled with the attitude and character of authoritarian parenting. Teens finally driven to seek his own grip. In this search they finally lapse into narcotics.
Factors disharmony in the family has a strong contribution to the emergence of problems experienced by adolescents. It is said that adolescence is an age of uncertainty, turbulent. Teenagers, on the one hand, want to break away from parental influence. But on the other hand, it is not fully independent. Thus, if parents can not become a safe haven for teenagers, teenagers will find somewhere else backrest as groups of young people who are not covered may have been involved in narcotics. Narcotics can finally be seen by teenagers as a substitute for affection and attention they experienced from their parents at home.
